Congratulations to Master Rose and Path of Harmony!
To the ancients Romans, five years came to a "lustrum." Citizens always used these anniversaries to purify and rededicate themselves.
Good martial artists, too, are all about refining their techniques and getting even more serious about training. The best place I know of to become the black belt you want to be is Path of Harmony -- for many reasons, the most important of which is Master Rose.
Your master is for-real when most instructors are secretly shaky. He knows what most instructors only pretend they do. He will act in honor to lead you to the heights of strength, self-confidence, health and excellence in his global arts. You will never be the same, and you will thank God for it.
Students and friends of POHMA, take it from an old dojo bum, where you are is where it is righteous to be. Now go work on your kicks some more.

We had a great time at the tournament this weekend. Everybody medaled and have some fun. There were some disappointing moments but it all turned out for the best.
In the first match of the day for us Shania Mendoza brought home a silver in a very exciting match. She come out kicking her heart and proved that she has what it takes to become a champion.
Makayla Jackson dominated the the field of fighters in her division. Her second set of matches was a barnburner. She fought very smartly and with alot of skill. She brought a gold medal in her fanstactic outing.
Andrew Finley is a monster! He took apart is challanger with shear power. With very powerful kicks he was able to take it to the limit and gold was his reward. You have to see it.
Christopher Gogue Brought home the gold when his opponent bowed out. However he did get a match and had to fight up in age. Give him cheers for not being afraid to step up and test him metal. Unfortunately he did not win that match but we learned somethings for it.
Mr. Roosevelt Shephard fought with great skill and precision. Taking the match to a 6-6 sudden death. He made two very good points that were not counted in a unbelievible loss. However after the match was over the ruling was over turned and he got both the silver medal and Gold medal for being the right winner of the match.
Miss. Jones battled to a Bronze medal against some really good fighters. She wanted to fight up in division because we had to see were her skill was. She took the challange and tried her best. We're very proud of her and now there is a new spark in her now that will help her bring home the gold at the next tournament.
Lets hear it for our competitors and congradulate them.
I'm proud of all of you.

The teens party was also cool. We had no problems and had a real good time as well.
Stay tuned becuase the kiddo's will have there overnighter real soon. And the planning for the " parent appreciation " party is on the way.
